Meet the Teachers of Little Oak Family Music

Our teachers come from all sorts of backgrounds, but they’re united by a common passion: Sharing music with children and families in the Clayton, CA!

All teachers have successfully completed the live Music Together® Teacher Training, which is built on research in early childhood and music development. We keep our skills fresh through workshops every semester and advanced trainings offered by Music Together Worldwide.  Megan is also certified by Music Together and has taught in NJ, at the Lab School in Princeton, and in Lamorinda and Oakland for 17 years.

Megan Dey-Toth has taught Music Together since her son was born in 2008!  Before that, she was a professional opera singer, performing all over the world and as a soloist at Carnegie Hall.  Megan plays the ukulele, guitar, and piano.  She took great delight in making music with her own children in Music Together class, and then watching them grow into confidant musicians.  Hearing young children sing and find joy in music is Megan's happy place.
